Ocurre cuando la conjuntiva, la membrana transparente que recubre la parte blanca del ojo y el interior de los p\u00e1rpados, se inflama o se infecta.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esta condici\u00f3n puede aparecer por infecciones virales o bacterianas, alergias, irritaci\u00f3n ambiental o exposici\u00f3n a sustancias qu\u00edmicas. En muchos casos es leve, pero algunas formas requieren evaluaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica para evitar complicaciones.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si presentas conjuntivitis sintomas como Este tejido ayuda a lubricar el ojo y protegerlo de microorganismos y part\u00edculas externas.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cuando la conjuntiva se inflama, los vasos sangu\u00edneos se dilatan y el ojo adquiere un color rojo caracter\u00edstico.
